Stericycle Response to Coronavirus

We are taking appropriate measures to keep our team members, healthcare workers and communities safe in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, while continuing to provide reliable service to our customers. We’ve made adjustments to our operating procedures and have readied business continuity plans as a result of the pandemic, which include the following:

  • Implemented processing facility contingencies, with the ability to deploy operational team members to alternate locations in the event of facility staffing shortages
  • Continuous monitoring of our supply chain to proactively mitigate major risks that would limit our ability to deliver service
  • Leveraging an extensive work-from-home capability for customer service, management and sales team members

Emergency Preparedness
Stericycle has contingency plans for emergencies as part of our standard course of operations. We are accustomed to numerous urgent and unplanned weather events, outages and unexpected incidents to be able to manage wastes throughout our network of facilities. The redundancies in our transportation and treatment facilities allow for shifting workloads and waste.
