Stericycle, through an exclusive Canadian agreement with UltiMed Inc., is pleased to offer UltiCare® Pen Needles in the innovative UltiGuard system – an easy to use, safer alternative for using and disposing of pen needles.
Billions of injections occur in a home setting each year and disposing of needles properly is critical to avoiding accidents. The UltiGuard® Safe Pack is an easy way to keep your household protected from potential needle stick injuries and the environment protected from contaminated needles in the waste stream.
The unique Pop, Drop, and Roll system allows you to safely dispense and dispose of pen needles in one easy-to-use unit. The UltiGuard® Safe Pack allows you to easily access the premium quality needles and dispose of them properly. Each UltiGuard safe pack contains 100 premium quality pen needles. Once a needle has been used you simply pop it in the top, drop, and roll it safely out the way.

Yellow sharps containers are used for non-cytotoxic biomedical waste and red sharps containers are used for cytotoxic biomedical waste.
Stericycle manages the safe collection, treatment and disposal of sharps containers returned to pharmacies across Canada.
