Fostering an environment for professional growth and development within the organization is key to Stericycle’s future success. To help cultivate an inclusive work environment, Stericycle has six employee resource groups (ERGs) which are team member-led networks organized around a shared identity and/or interest. Our young professionals ERG, SEEDS, is excited to be holding its inaugural Promoting Leadership, Advancement, and New Talent (PLANTS) career development workshop.
PLANTS is a three-day workshop taking place from July 13–15. The workshop includes events designed to help employees continue their growth through professional development. Sessions include topics such as optimizing your LinkedIn profile and performance management, followed by a panel discussion with some of Stericycle’s Senior Vice-Presidents. The workshop finishes with Executive Vice-President and Chief People Officer, Joe Reuter, speaking on his career journey.
“Since starting in March 2022, we have hit the ground running. We have more than 90 members globally and have started a peer mentorship program. We are very excited to be hosting the first of what we hope are many career development workshops. It is a great opportunity for everyone in the company, no matter where you are in your career journey, to learn new skills and get advice from some of our senior leaders,” says Alex Goldberg, SEEDS co-founder. “SEEDS provides a platform for young professionals to connect cross-functionally, build relationships, and focus on their career growth at Stericycle.”
At Stericycle, we strive for excellence and are committed to opportunities for the diverse talent and leadership across our entire team. To learn more about SEEDS and our other ERGs, visit our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion page.
